Having gone through a gruelling, competitive and extremely thorough application process (being asked to take the job during a late-night pub singalong and going ‘yeah’), Helen — an AMH finalist at Somerville who’s been singing far too loud for far too long — is incredibly pleased to find that her role as publicity officer is 80% getting to draw silly things for the society (graphic design is her passion etc. etc.) and 20% getting validation online. When she isn’t trying to sing, trying to act, or trying to do her degree, she takes pride in succeeding at being autistic. |
